Children's House Lead Teacher, 7:30 am  - 3:30 pm


Accepting resumes for an AMS-certified head teacher to lead a mixed aged classroom of up to 20 children aged 2.9 through Kindergarten. Ideally you will be able to begin immediately or right after the holidays (January 2025). Founded in 1998, Keystone has a long term faculty of dedicated Montessori teachers with Montessori trained administration. Qualifications:

  • Someone who is confident with parent communications, has caring interactions with the children, has a warm and compassionate personality with a fun sense of humor are important.
  • Montessori certification required
  • EEC certification required
  • First Aid & CPR certification required


Substitute Teacher for Children’s House & Elementary Classrooms (Preschool through 6th grade)


Starting out as a substitute teacher is a great way to get your foot in the door at Keystone. It’s a great way to learn and grow as a teacher, learn about Montessori philosophy, and work in a professional environment with staff who are committed to early childhood education. You can sub as little or as many hours as fits your schedule. Additionally, if you prefer to work with a particular age group, that’s fine too!

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children
  • Understanding of the Montessori philosophy – preferred, but not required
  • EEC Certification – preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty
  • Commitment to meeting the needs of each child
  • Starting pay is $15 per hour, or more depending on certifications and experience.
  • First Aid & CPR certification required

Substitute Teacher for Infant-Toddler Program


A substitute must demonstrate strong classroom management experience and the confidence to direct the classroom in a positive and fun way, representing our school in a professional manner at all times. They must have a positive attitude and be a team player. You can sub as little or as many hours as fits your schedule!

Qualifications:

  • Dedication to the Montessori philosophy, positive discipline, and demonstrates a love for children and education
  • Starting pay is $15 per hour, or more depending on certifications and experience.
  • EEC preferred but not required
  • First Aid & CPR certification required
